Ed Shouse...
Ed Shouse and his wife Lisa are the parents of Joe who is a student at Bearden Middle. Ed, Lisa and Joe are members of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
Ed Shouse is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He worked in the banking industry and is retired from Gulf and Ohio Railways where he was Vice President of Asset Management.
Ed Shouse has served as an elected member of Knoxville City Council where he chaired the Financial Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Audit Committee of Knox County Commission.
"I will use my background in business and finance and my experience in government to be a county commissioner who will continue to work to change the former situation and work hard to never let the forces of Black Wednesday return to power in Knox County."
Ed Shouse was a candidate in the February, 2008 Knox County primary election and received 52% of all votes cast in a field of four candidates.
In August, 2008, Ed Shouse was victorious in the Knox County general election receiving 62% of the vote.
In May, 2010 Ed Shouse was the winner of the Republican primary election for County Commission Seat 11 At-Large and is now running in the August 5 general election against one independent candidate. No Democrats are on the ballot for Seat 11 in the AUgust 5 election.
